Plantar Fasciitis
This painful foot condition often has biomechanical causes higher up the chain. We assess your gait, hip, and spinal alignment to address contributing factors, alongside targeted treatment for the affected foot.

What's Going On?
Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition affecting the underside of the foot, typically felt as a sharp pain in the heel, especially first thing in the morning or after rest. It's caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue that supports the arch of the foot.
While the pain is in the foot, the cause often lies higher up the chain. How you walk, the alignment of your hips and pelvis, and the function of your spine all influence the forces that pass through your feet. We assess your gait, hip, and spinal alignment to identify and address contributing factors, alongside targeted treatment for the affected foot.
